An ultra compact drill driver from DeWalt thanks to the exclusion of the hammer mechanism. Many tradesmen never use the hammer functionality of their combi drill when they carry an SDS drill alongside, or are only ever drilling into joists and other timber framing. This drill is ideal for those users as it allows drilling up to 30mm diameter holes in wood, and 13mm holes in metal. For screwdriving applications it can deliver up to 65 Nm of hard torque with a power output of 340 Watts thanks in part to the high performance brushless DC motor. Brushless motors also give longer battery runtime as well as require no maintenance.
