This saw is fitted with a CUTLINE LED work light, which illuminates at the push of a button or when the trigger is pulled. The light shines past the blade, using the blade to make a shadow on the workpiece exactly where the blade will land.
As well as only needing one battery to operate, there are many other quality of life improvements of the DCS781 over the DHS780 including improved dust port placement, plus new technology to increase the runtime of each battery by recovering lost energy especially between shorter cuts.
