A premium laser from DeWalt with red diode. The DCLE15211R has a dual slope function which allows you to manually adjust the angle of the laser for more complex projects like drainage.
The kit comes with a laser detector which gives you a range of 600 metres; ideal for large sites. The built-in battery is a Lithium-ion type which gives you 40 hours of runtime on a single charge.
Also supplied in the kit is the wall charger (type-C USB), and a type-C to C USB charging cable. This allows the unit to be charged from empty to full in just 1 hour. You can also recharge it from any other USB power source, such as your van.
The laser is accurate to 2.2mm over a 30 metre distance. The laser can be placed on a tripod so the line is either in the horizontal or vertical orientation. It uses the larger tripod thread.
